Can I remove my horse from the auction once it has started?

Once an auction is live, the horse cannot be removed until the end of the auction. If you have extenuating circumstances, please contact AHT.

Can I reserve an entire auction for my farm?

Yes, please contact [email protected] for information.

Will you advertise my horse on different platforms?

Yes, your horse(s) will be promoted on the Arabian Horse Times auctions Facebook page.

How do I register to bid?

Go to https://auction.ahtimes.com/ and click on the register now button on the top right. Your user ID is what people see when you bid – this cannot have any spaces in it; your password also cannot have any spaces in it. Phone Number: Enter your cell phone number and click verify and it will send a code to your phone that you enter in the verify code field. If it gives you an error when entering phone #, you must have denied text messages on that number at some time, so click on the box by No, my phone number is a landline or foreign phone.

How do I know if I have the high bid?

The system puts a message up at the time of bidding that either tells you, you are currently the high bidder, or that someone else has a bid higher than yours. You will also get an email (and text message if you are signed up for them) if you have the high bid.

Can I change my user id?

Yes, contact AHT to change your user id.

I forgot my password ...

In the USER ID field, enter your user name and click on forgot password. Enter the email your user id is setup with and a resent password code will be emailed to you. If unable to do this, contact AHT to have your password manually reset.

Questions on a specific lot:

For horse sales, the contact for lot questions is in the lot description. AHT manages the online auction but does not have specific details about each lot.
For breeding sales, information on the program is on each program’s website.  Questions on breedings should be asked to the breeding contact for each stallion.

What is a proxy bid?

A proxy bid allows you to enter the max amount you are willing to bid and then the system will bid for you up to that max amount in $100 increments against other bidders.

If my horse sells, how do I receive the funds?

Payment for the horse can be made via either check mailed out or wire transfer.

If my horse does not sell in the first auction, do I have to pay to list him/her again in another auction?

Yes, the $325 consignment fee is due for each listing, even if this horse did not sell in a prior auction.

Can I perform a vet check on a lot that I'm interested in?

Please contact the listed seller of the lot you are interested in to answer questions and coordinate vet checks.

Is there a discount for multiple lots?

No, there is not a multi-horse discount.

Is there a consignment fee to list my horse?

Yes, there is a consignment fee of $425 per horse listed, plus 5% of the sale price should the horse sell in the auction.

If my horse sells privately at my farm while in the auction, will I receive a refund of the consignment fee?

No, once the consignment form closes at 12pm CST the Thursday before the auction, all fees are nonrefundable. If your horse sells before this time, it is your responsibility to contact an AHT representative before the date and time cutoff.
